Jesus already sees you as holy and complete — so why does the Christian life still feel like a work in progress? In Colossians 1:28-29, Paul says his goal wasn't to make anyone perfect by their own effort, but to help them become fully mature in Christ — teleios: brought to the goal God intends. That's not the same as having it all figured out. Growth isn't about flawless performance — it's about formation. Through the proclamation of Christ, God is actively at work in His people here in Doral, Miami, Miami Gardens, Hialeah, and across South Florida, shaping how we think, love, and live. Continuing Week 3 of "Discipleshift: From Infancy to Adulthood," Pastor Ben Kuerth unpacks Colossians 1:28-29 to show what real spiritual maturity looks like — not comfort, not knowledge for its own sake, but a readiness to move from receiving ministry to participating in it. If you've settled into spiritual infancy while assuming growth happens automatically, this message is for you. Maturity isn't a destination you arrive at on your own — it's God's ongoing work in you, for the good of others.
